Spring Cleaning

So I finally updated the website management. A thumbnail system was added which allowed designers/developers to incorporate content sliders directly into the theme. As some may notice I did update our main site, I may or may not update old posts. Probably leaning towards not…

Anyways, I have done a little bit of spring cleaning. I cleaned out about 309 spam comments, and out of the all the comments there were 2 valid comments by Barrah! How nice, now if only the rest of the guild would take interest ^_^

Today I purged 41 Pages of Bot accounts on the web forum. I did my best to look at current applications to make sure everyone who is actually trying to gain admittance did not get deleted, however I may have missed some. If that is the case with your forum account, please create a new account, and notify someone IN-GAME that your account needs to be promoted.

Trial of the Crusade – 25 Completed!

Sorry everyone, I don’t have a screenshot! however, you can look below for a relativly similar image! All bosses killed in 1 night, and I think after our attempts on Anub, that our guilds will be able to farm ToC25 now for much gear!! Thanks to everyone who attended, you guys are truely showing our strength. ^_^

Trial Of the Crusader – Completed!

Anub’Arak was available this week, and we easily downed this boss. With his death the attending members are now able to unlock the Heroic version of 10 man Trial! Good work on getting him down. Bring on the tough content!

On another note, this week we also started working on Ulduar 10 man Achievements after a nice long break. Add Orbituary to the list!

New Logo!

Updated guild logo! So, I got a little bored today, and decided to work up a guild logo. When I originally did the website I created a little bored looking guy for the Forums, but he was so plain and didn’t really represent anything. So, I tried to come up with something a bit more bold. It is a Sword and Crown, for anyone who can’t tell. I had a difficult time deciding on the colors as well, since our website was orginally orange (also, not really representative of anything.)

The resulting logo went with the standard Horde colors, and something with a dark feeling to it. With such a colorful logo, I decided to minimalize our website and main forum theme, Milkyway. Prosilver/Subsilver won’t get changed, except I added the logo.

Originally I had the image turned so the sword was going vertical, not horizantal, but for a nicer effect on the forums, I turned the image. Now it kind of looks like a big splatter of blood, lol. Take it however you like.
